Jerry Jendusa

People & Process Champion

Jerry is very passionate about developing and growing people and businesses through the use of processes. He believes in activating the growth of others to accelerate what they do to impact their teams, businesses, and the World. After his successful exit from his basement start-up of 18 years (“the EMTEQ story”) in 2014, he has gone on to help support and develop other businesses. He is inspired by leadership and entrepreneurism and shares his journey over his 30+ year career to help others.

At BLU, Jerry has oversight of the BREAKTHRU Initiatives and is a jack-of-all-trades kind of person who gladly invests in, advises, and offers speaking engagements and key client support. He is passionate about business strategy, executive advisory services, growth planning and has a strong desire to scale leadership teams through BLU HABITS™, BLU MINDSET™, BLU TEAMS, and the BLU GROWTHPATH™ Operating System.

In addition, Jerry is an advocate of alternative boards that are less about governance and more on business cadence, leadership development, and the celebration of success along the way. He has a strong belief in values to live and grow by as this has worked for him throughout his career and desires that same results for other leadership teams!

Outside of BLU, he is the co-lead investor and Chairman of the board for innovative companies in the manufacturing and innovation sectors for biosciences and hospital market sectors while holding a few other board positions.

Furthermore, he has been a supporter of entrepreneurship in the state of Wisconsin through his involvement with being:

  • a Mogul of Project Pitch It (Milwaukee’s version of Shark Tank)
  • the co-chair for the Greater Milwaukee Committee
  • an ambassador for University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (his alma mater)

He, his wife Becky, and their family provide philanthropy endeavors around kids, mental and behavioral health, and entrepreneurialism. They are involved with Make-A-Wish Wisconsin’s “Mukwonago for Wishes” program, Children’s of Wisconsin, the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center, and the Pat Connaughton Foundation and more.

Jerry and Becky have a blended family of 7 and two dogs: Rex and Blaze. They love to hike, exercise, and enjoy the great outdoors that the state of Wisconsin, the country, and the World has to offer. They want to celebrate life every single day.
